maryrambin: OLD SCHOOL STYLE After reading Michelle’s blog regarding Marc Jacob’s new ad campaign (below), it made me think…what brand is making a notable statement right now? Some could argue Tom Ford’s naked people have garnered a great amount of attention, but I, being the fashion maven that I am, think it’s trite and pointless.  Notice how Julia and I use the same words or phrases like trite all the time now? Its called synergy something or other. It’s part of our plan to compete when we launch our brand. Dolce and Gabbana and Tom Ford have done it in the past but from the looks of things they will have nothing on me. Please. And the man (who they refer to as Mr. Ford at the boutique) is selling clothes, not wee wees big swinging dicks. I mean who does Tom Ford think he is?!? My God, can someone say over the hill and no longer with vision? I can but I hope I spelled it rite My favorite is Keith Richards for Louis Vuitton.  You expect Scarlett Johansson looking gorgeous posing with a bag. I bet she has a weave. But scruffy, old, past his prime Keith is absolutely stylish AND classic while heavily medicated. Perfect!  OMG, OMG, Mary how do you really feel?? Way to confront the classic designers of our time.
